On July 10, 2024, SEEKINK celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new manufacturing base in Vinh An, Vietnam. This significant event also included an eco-partners’ meeting. Among the distinguished attendees were Mr. Bian, General Manager of Electronic Information (Fujian) Co., Ltd., Mr. Xiao, General Manager of Jiangxi Xingtai Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr. Lee, Chairman of E-ink HOLDINGS INC. Over 100 eco-partners from the industry were present to join the celebration.
The ceremony kicked off with an exciting lion dance performance, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with 10 honored guests, officially marking the launch of SEEKINK’s operations in Vietnam.
During the event, Mr. Xiao expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the strong support from customers, E-INK, industry chain partners, HOLITECH TECHNOLOGY, and the Electronic Information Group (Fujian). He emphasized that SEEKINK’s investment in Vietnam aligns with the global development trend of the e-paper industry, enhancing local services and strengthening the industry’s supply chain. Mr. Xiao highlighted Vietnam’s strategic geographic location, stable political environment, welcoming investment policies, and abundant ecological resources as key factors for the company’s future growth. He envisioned Vietnam becoming a crucial hub for the e-paper industry, bridging the East and West and reaching global markets.
Mr. Xiao announced that construction for SEEKINK Vietnam has officially begun, with the first phase targeting a monthly production capacity of 2.5 million units. The company anticipates receiving local government approval for mass production by October. Moving forward, SEEKINK will continue to expand the project in phases, optimizing product lines and increasing total production capacity to an estimated 7 million units per month by the end of 2025.
Mr. Xiao expressed his hope that SEEKINK Vietnam will continue to excel as a professional e-paper module manufacturer and service provider, leading innovation in e-paper applications across multiple industries. With the support of global e-paper leader E-INK HOLDINGS INC. and collaboration from all industry partners, SEEKINK aims to promote the application of e-paper display technology in various IoT scenarios, contributing to global digitalization and green transformation efforts.
Mr. Bian, in his leadership speech, highlighted the growing market for e-paper applications, from e-readers to smart retail, smart offices, smart warehousing, smart medical, and more. He noted the advantages of e-paper technology, including eye protection, low energy consumption, thinness, and lightweight design, making it ideal for traditional paper use cases. Mr. Bian stressed that SEEKINK’s advancements will significantly contribute to achieving carbon neutrality and the sustainable development of the digital economy.
As a pioneer in Electronic information industry, the Electronic Information Group (Fujian) seizes opportunities in the new display industry, continuously enhancing competitiveness through technological innovation and industry leadership. Mr. Bian underscored that SEEKINK, a leader in the e-paper industry under the Electronic Information Group (Fujian), will continue to focus on e-paper display innovation, breaking development bottlenecks and accelerating the transformation of technological achievements.
The commencement of construction signifies SEEKINK’s official move towards production, injecting new energy into both the domestic and international e-paper industries. Mr. Bian encouraged SEEKINK to leverage strategic industrial opportunities, maximize policy advantages, promote core technology research and development, and cultivate competitive products. On behalf of E-INK HOLDINGS INC., Mr. Lee congratulated SEEKINK Vietnam on its groundbreaking. In his speech, he praised SEEKINK Technology’s excellent leadership team for their rapid growth, expansion of e-paper sizes and applications, and record-high production volumes. Mr. Lee noted the growing demand for electronic paper labels in the U.S. market and expressed confidence that SEEKINK Vietnam will thrive amid increasing global demand for e-paper technology.
After the ceremony, leaders and guests toured the production facilities and office areas of SEEKINK Vietnam, experiencing firsthand the company’s modern production line, innovative technology, and corporate culture. They expressed high regard for the company’s efficient operations and potential for future growth. The day concluded with an appreciation banquet, where attendees raised their glasses to celebrate the successful event.
